As soon as lessons are finished, our students participate at the school’s sport club throughout the whole boarding school terms. Students enjoy the basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, tennis, ski, swimming, cricket, track and field within the school and in Swiss and other countries competitions. Students’ trophies decorate the school, remind the winning moments and inspire for bigger triumphs. Daily sport sessions starts at 4.00 p.m. It includes different sport activities for girls and boys. Students are supervised by qualified trainers and medical staff during all of the boarding school terms.
Spoil yourself in our Swiss environment and discover the beauty of the country by participating in field trips. Ski resorts such as – Zermatt and Interlaken. During each boarding school term we take the students Swiss museums – Olympic of Lausanne, Omega of Bienne and students’ favorite – chocolate factories.
Sport activities contribute to healthy life style, proportionate physical and mental development. Leman Swiss Boarding School has an objective to promote and achieve an ethical playing, honesty and fair during the sport activities in all the different Switzerland boarding school terms. This real life example is transformed into classes and post-classes communication which educates children to be value oriented in the games and in the dealings.
Our Geneva boarding School has an important goal of incorporating students into various external activities. The “Student United Nations” and the “Model of United Nations” are the good examples. Our best debate club members participate in international debate session, which takes place in International Conference Center of Geneva. The debate illustrates the work of diplomats in UN. The best debaters once a year go for the finals to Hague, Netherlands. The Boarding School also prepares teams for the European International Schools Mathematics competitions at both senior and junior levels.
Boarding School has the year book of students which is filled with the championships, friendship smiles and unforgettable events. This annual keeps the most significant knowledge of music lessons, the flashbacks of Solo and Ensemble Music Festival in Hague, as well as, participation memories in the National Honor Society (humanitarian actions organization). The Student Council each year organizes lively and vibrant International Day, when students cook their traditional dishes and wear national costumes. In this way, we learn to study, live, co-operate and respect other cultures, races and religions.
