St. George's School in Switzerland - Parents Club

We believe that school family connection begins at the moment you first consider St. George’s program Switzerland Boarding School and extends beyond graduation. Parents are always welcome to attend weekly school programs, athletic events, concerts, plays, art exhibits, and dance, theatrical productions throughout the year. Each fall we host a Parents' Day, giving current parents an extra chance to visit their child’s classes and meet with faculty. In addition, parents come to Grandparents’ Day each spring, and our Good Will Initiative Day. Our Switzerland Boarding School has an active Parent Club. It is a volunteer group of parents committed to sustaining and building the school community. Parent club is organized into four departments. First department consists of classroom representatives, who act as a conduit for information between the teachers and the parents. Second is a social committee, which provides a social network and coordinates activities for the parents. Third is a fundraising committee, which organizes and promotes projects to raise funds for School. Finally, the newsletter group publishes useful information on various topics and events throughout the school year. St. George’s alumni connect into Georgentian network, which keeps them informed and updated. The Boarding School keeps the promises for graduates. Every time our alumni return to the school, it is very emotional event. Our valuable Georgentians see school improvement over the years, self-assured students, who are well behaved and ready to take on the world. It inflames fantastic feelings of warmth, friendship and belonging both to us and our graduates.
