Study skills

The Diplome National du Brevet (DNB) marks the end of Collège courses. In order to pass the exam, candidates require an average of over 10 in their subjects. Merit or distinction (mentions) are awarded for scores over 12 (assez bien), 14 (bien) and 16 (très bien).

At the end of 3e, all candidates must sit an external examination in French, Mathematics, a foreign language, History/Geography, Life Sciences, Physical Science.
