CHANTEMERLE FRENCH SCHOOL IN SWITZERLAND
Chantemerle is located between the Swiss Alps and Lake Geneva. Each year, the school welcomes 60 students to experience French culture and education in a safe and healthy environment.
Founded in 1966, Chantemerle is located in the Swiss Alps overlooking Lake Geneva.
Chantemerle welcomes both boarding and day school pupils ages 5 to 16. Throughout the academic year and the summer school, more than 150 boys and girls come each year to Chantemerle to follow our academic programme and to benefit from the school's outstanding reputation.
From March 2011, Chantemerle opens a bilingual class for children ages 4 to 6.

Academic school year
Class is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 16h15. Primary subjects, e.g. French, maths, sciences and langages are taught in the morning while music, visual arts and sports take place in the afternoon.
Boarding and day school
Chantemerle welcomes both boarding and day pupils. Chantemerle's culture promotes academic effort, active participation in school life, community spirit, mutual respect and common sense.
Bilingual Class (4 to 6 years)
English speaking children or children with international backgrounds will follow the British National Curriculum with French as a primary foreign language

Chantemerle secondary section accomodates up to 40 students aged between 12 and 16 years. The programme follows the French National Curriculum.

Throughout the summer, up to a 100 boys and girls ages 6 to 16 from around the world join this programme to learn a new language meeting old friends and making new ones.
