Chantemerle International School - Boarding and day school
Chantemerle's culture promotes academic effort, active participation in school life, community spirit, mutual respect and common sense. Within a warm and friendly atmosphere, students of different ages and nationalities share an enriching experience, which develops tolerance and understanding of other cultures.
Chantemerle welcomes both boarding and day pupils.
Boarding students study, eat and sleep at Chantemerle. They usually return home for the weekend.
Pupils are housed in pleasant 2, 3 or 4 bedded rooms and are allocated according to age and gender. The children are encouraged to decorate their rooms with personal items. The rooms may also be used as a study area, or to simply relax.
Around the clock supervision ensure that all pupils are well and safely accomodated. Boarding fees covers laundery and room maintenance.
Maintaining a strong family link with parents is essential. Phone / skype / emails are encouraged during allocated times. Meetings with the directors or with teachers can be easily arranged when appropriate.
Day students benefit from flexible arrivals and departure times. They can participate in all the extra-curriculum activities and have breakfast/lunch/meal at no extra cost.
Healthy eating is one of our objective. Our school recently receved the Fourchette Verte label which promote a well balanced and varied diet in schools with particular emphasis on serving fresh fruits and vegetables bought from local producers. Every sundays, Chantemerle's chef bake our own traditional bread.
